Röbäcksdalen
Encouraged by the results in a small trial orchard in 2014 Brännland Iscider planted more than a 1000 trees at Röbäcksdalen in 2016. The orchard was financed through crowd funding and agricultural support from the EU.55 apple varieties are continuously evaluated for suitability in terms of climate resilience and wine production. Ice cider from the fruit at Röbäcksdalen has been produced since 2020.
Svettåker
Svettåker orchard, established in 2024 in collaboration with Carl Wikströms stiftelse and EIP-agri, trials the idea of establishing an apple orchard as part of a forestry eco-system.

2023 beviljades Brännland Iscider EU-medel via Jordbruksverket för att utreda frågan om ett svenskt appellationssystem för svensk cider och svenska viner. Projektet tillkom därför att Brännland Iscider undersökte möjligheterna att ursprungsskydda iscider i Sverige. Efter dialog med Jordbruksverket kring de utmaningar som följde med ett ursprungsskydd utvidgades arbetet, på verkets anmodan, till att omfatta insamling och sammanställning av information kring ursprungsskydd för både hantverkscider och druvvin i Sverige. Projektet har drivits av Brännland Iscider mellan september 2023 och april 2025. Den rapport som projektet utmynnat i kommer att spridas till berörda intressenter i branschen under 2025.
